Welcome to my blog page specifically dedicated to young Jehovah's Witnesses.
There are a number of good sites on the internet where interested people can research the beliefs and practices of Jehovah's Witnesses.
This site is designed to appeal to and meet the needs of those most vulnerable members of the religion, its youth.
A lot of children and teenagers get baptised every year as ordained ministers of the religion. It is not uncommon for children as young as 8 to be baptised. Often they are around 12 or 13 and those who get baptised at 17 or 18 are seen to be leaving it 'a bit late'.
I have noticed that many have less than adequate knowledge of the religion they are officially joining by baptism. They have little knowledge of the true history and doctrines and far less knowledge of the consequences of joining.
The articles prepared are meant to make you think. Think deeply, and above all question. Nobody learns by reading off some already provided answer in a book or magazine. That is simply repeating back an expected or required answer. Sure, the information may sink in, but unless a child or adult is taught also to analize, question and disect the information, it will be of questionable use later in life.
One of the principle challenges facing you young ones in the organization, is that by getting baptised before your own brain has had a chance to mature, before puberty, before working out who you are and what you believe in is that those opportunities to learn are gone. Replaced with a set of teachings, rules and consequences that you are to young to understand. As you mature and round out as a person, you are duty bound to stay within the walls of the Watchtower Doctrines and repress any urgings that are not chosen by the 'Faithful and Discreet Slave' and the Governing Body.
This site is there to help you on this journey. To slow you up a bit if you are rushing. Take your time to learn all you can. I know they tell you that ''there is no time to waste, that Armageddon is a nano second away, dont delay! ''
But if you are 'delaying' or taking it slower to make sure that the truth ''is your own'', and being diligent to ''make sure of all things'' then you are actually doing what the Bible says to do. Do not allow men or peer pressure make you take a step before you are ready.
So please stay awhile and have a read...
